lodestar Privacy Policy

The short version

lodestar does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. There is no account to create, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no server of ours for your data to sit on. The app talks directly to servers you run and configure yourself, and everything it knows stays on your iPhone.

What stays on your device

To control your servers, lodestar stores your configuration locally, on your iPhone:

• The names and addresses of the services you add (Radarr, Sonarr, NZBGet, SABnzbd, qBittorrent) and the profiles that group them.
• API keys and passwords, stored in the iOS Keychain, the encrypted credential store built into the operating system.
• Your preferences, such as theme and which screen the app opens to.

None of this ever leaves your device unless you export a configuration backup yourself, and that backup is encrypted and goes only where you put it. Deleting the app deletes your configuration.

Network activity

The only network calls lodestar makes are the ones you configure. The app connects directly from your iPhone to the server addresses you enter, whether on your local network or over the internet, with no middleware, relay, or proxy of ours in between. Artwork such as movie posters is fetched from your own servers.

We cannot see those connections, and there is no lodestar server for them to pass through. If your servers are on your local network, iOS will ask your permission before the app can reach them; that permission is used solely to connect to the servers you configured.

Purchases

The one-time lifetime unlock is processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple provides us only anonymous, aggregated sales reporting. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

If you contact us

If you email us, we keep that correspondence only as long as needed to help you. Nothing is ever sent from the app on its own.

Children

lodestar is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete on request. Data held on your device is under your control and is removed when you delete the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it, and the current version always lives at this address.
